OUR MISSION
The Empathy Journal is an online McGill based publication composed of students' personal narratives of their own mental health. We are entirely student-run and non-profit.
Our aim is to normalize struggle by speaking about it in an open, authentic, and empathic way. We want to encourage others to stand up and say "me too" in conversations about mental health. We also strive to broaden the general understanding of struggle to include more than diagnosed conditions.
Some of the hardest topics to normalize are the ones that need the most light drawn to them.
We hope our readers will draw comfort from knowing that they are not alone in what they are experiencing.
