The Storm in Disneyland

Since the beginning of this

‘Panoramic’

I've been seeing the world in a whole new view

And it feels like

I don’t know what’s going on

Like I was on a journey

And then came the storm

Then I clicked my heels and here I was in Oz

Lost.

Since then

I've been feeling under the sea

Feelings so deep

Down

And a part of my world

Feels stuck aboard a ship

That has floundered

Into a-riel-ity

More dangerous

Than I've ever encountered.

Still, I have no choice

but to

Keep swimming.

I’ll persevere

I’ll swim through jellyfish that sting

Through the sharks that bite

Through the depths of the sea

Through the currents that push against me

Taking me in the opposite direction

But I won't stop until I reach my destination.

I’ll persevere

Until I make

A whole new world

Like Aladdin and Princess Jasmine

Flying towards the sky

Clouds left behind

And if I could have one wish

It would be

That despite the tossing of the waves and the splashing of the sea

I will enjoy the journey.

Because it’s the journey that makes me incredible

That helps me to be dashingly courageous

To bloom like a violet

To bend and stretch like elastic.

So, no.

 I won't break.

I'll get through the storm.

I’ll swim to the surface.

And I’ll float

Because

“The very things that hold you down [can] lift you up.”
